ONE Spirit is a Native American service organization founded to assist and support American Indians. ONE Spirit, as a group of people who exchange friendship with American Indians. At present, their focus are the Lakota Sioux in South Dakota.

KILI, licensed to Porcupine, South Dakota, is a non-profit radio station broadcasting to the Lakota people on the Pine Ridge, Cheyenne River, and Rosebud Indian Reservations, part of the Great Sioux Nation.


 

As president of Hancock Lumber Company, Kevin Hancock leads a sixth-generation family business that has operated since 1848. Headquartered in Casco, Maine, the company has 10 retail stores and three sawmills, and employs 425 people. A graduate of Lake Region high School and Bowdoin College, Kevin travels often to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, where he has connected with residents and key organizations. Kevin has created a nonprofit called “The Seventh Power” to support initiatives on the reservation and has written a book titled, Not For Sale: Finding Center in the Land of Crazy Horse, about his personal journey to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, as well as the history and modern day life of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.

Re-Member is an independent registered a nonprofit organization on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota, USA. Re-Member trys to improve the quality of reservation life through relationships, shared resources and volunteer services.


 

The Great Plains Ecotourism Coalition is a group committed to promoting environmental conservation and building thriving communities through nature-based tourism in the Great Plains.

The Chamber is an association of business people — working together to make the Pine Ridge area a better place in which to live, work and raise a family. The Chamber is governed by a board of directors. The directors are nominated from the membership every two years.
